Overview
Subentities can be enabled and configured in your portal if you need these for reporting purposes. By default, they're called 'Branch' and 'Division' but you can choose to label them differently. Subentities can be assigned at an entity level and on each Job.
If you need subentities enabled in your portal, please contact our Support Team.
Assign Subentities in Company Management
The Config > Company Management > select the entity > Reporting tab allows you to enable Associated subentities at an entity level.
Tick the checkbox to Select All or select specific branches to enable, then click Save.
The Reporting tab will not appear in Company Management if you have not configured any branches at a portal level.
Assign Subentities to Jobs
You can assign branches and divisions to an individual Job by following these steps:
-
Go to Users > Employees > select the employee > select the Job > Management.
-
Select the Division and Branch from the drop-down fields.
-
Click Save.
Only branches and divisions which have been assigned in your entity settings will appear in the drop-down boxes on the Jobs in that entity.
You can choose to make the Branch, or both the Branch and Division mandatory fields to complete. If you need assistance setting this up, please contact Support.
