Overview
The frequency of employee payments and pay period length is controlled by the Pay Cycle assigned to their profile.
Once a Pay Cycle is set up, you can assign it to an employee:

Go to Users > Employees > select the employee > Employment.

Select the Pay Cycle from the drop-down list.

Click Save.
An employee can only have one Pay Cycle assigned to their profile. The default Pay Cycle per your payroll config will be automatically assigned to new employees.
Change an Employee's Pay Cycle
Changing Pay Cycles can have implications on PAYG tax, so it is important to consider this before changing an employee’s Pay Cycle.
You will also need to consider any reporting or management implications before you change an employee’s Pay Cycle.
