Assign Projects to a Customer
Before a project can be assigned to an employee’s Job, you will need to link it to a Customer.
To assign a project to a Customer:
Go to Users > Customers > select the customer > Project Management.
Select the project from the available list. You can assign the project:
At a Customer level. Set the ‘View Projects For’ drop-down to ‘All Workplaces and the project will apply to all workplaces set for the Customer.
At a specific workplace. Specify a workplace in the ‘View Projects For’ drop-down to apply the project to that workplace only.
- Click Save.
Assign Projects to a Job
Once a project is assigned to a Customer or workplace, you can assign the project to an employee linked to that Customer.
To assign a project to a Job:
- Go to Users >
Employees > select the employee > select the job > Project Management.
Select the Assigned Project.
Projects that have been assigned to a Customer will automatically appear in the drop-down list for any job linked to that Customer.
If employees are assigned more than one project, you will need to ensure that Split Shifts have been enabled so that they can enter multiple time blocks per day in their timesheet, as required.
