Overview
The Dashboard is a portal’s homepage and the default screen a user will see when they log in.
Generally, users will see some combination of the below widgets and shortcuts on their Dashboard, depending on their access permissions and user type:
Create User |
Allows you to create a new user profile. (You can only create a user profile that is the same level or lower than your current login.) |
Timesheet Summary |
A summary of recent timesheet activity. Click View Timesheet Status Report for a detailed version of the report. |
Expenses Summary |
A summary of recent expense activity, if the Expenses module is enabled in the portal. Click View Expense Status Report for a detailed version of the report. |
System History |
A summary of recent updates to user profiles. Click View All History to see the User Updates Report in more detail. |
News |
Display notices and news items to all Users or specific user types. Click ‘More News’ to view the full news page. Staff/Admin users with Access to Config can update what appears here in Config > System Setup > Notices. |
Late Tax File Declarations |
A list of employees with overdue tax file number declarations. Click on an employee to view the TFN Declarations Report for more details. |
Downloads |
A document library specific to a user, based on their user type and the entities they are associated with. Files can be viewed and downloaded using the navigation buttons at the bottom of the list. System Administrators manage the Dashboard files that appear for users. |
