Electronic TFN Declarations

Overview

The tax information recorded in the Tax & Super tab of an employee profile determines how PAYG is calculated when that employee is included in a pay run.

You can record an employee’s Tax File Number (TFN) and submit their TFN Declaration electronically to the Australian Tax Office (ATO).

The declaration can be completed by employees as part of their onboarding, or by System or Payroll Administrators on behalf of the employee as a Paper Submission.

To submit a TFN declaration online, you will need to be using the Payroll module in your portal. You will also need to have the Electronic TFN Declaration module switched on. For more information, contact our Support Team.
