Submit your TFN Declaration
As an employee, you can submit an electronic TFN declaration from the Tax & Super tab in their profile. The single-window popup contains all the questions that you need to complete in order to declare your tax status. For more information on how to complete the declaration, please see this article.
To create a TFN declaration as an employee:
Log in to your portal.
Go to Profile > Tax & Super.
Click ‘Start New TFN Declaration’.
- Complete the required information.
The details that you have entered in your Personal Details tab will be attached to the TFN Declaration, so it is also important to check that your First Name, Last Name, DOB, Payslip Email Address, and Address have been entered correctly.
Changes to your TFN Declaration
Sometimes your tax status may change, so to ensure that you are taxed correctly, you'll need to submit a new TFN declaration that reflects this change.
To create a new TFN declaration, you'll need to go to Profile > Tax & Super, then click Start New TFN Declaration.
You'll see a popup window asking you to confirm that you want to create a new declaration. This will replace any existing tax information stored on your profile. Click Confirm to proceed, then complete the declaration as required.
Review your TFN Declaration
Once you have submitted a TFN declaration, it will appear in the right column of your Tax & Super screen, under History.
Each submitted declaration will show from most recent to oldest, with the date, time, and user that submitted the form. You can view a summary of your declaration by clicking on the blue link.
