Overview
If the option has been enabled in your portal, you can submit leave that you are taking as part of your timesheet instead of submitting a leave request. To do this, you'll need to add a separate timesheet block for the period that you are taking leave.
Submit Leave in a Timesheet
There are three ways to access your timesheet in your portal:
- Dashboard > Timesheet Summary > View All Timesheets;
- Click the Log Time button on the Dashboard; or,
- Click the Timesheets tab and select the relevant timesheet period.
When you open the timesheet:

Add a New Block for the day you would like to take leave.

Select the leave type that you would like to request from the list of items in the New Block drop-down. This list will include any leave types that have been assigned to your profile. You’ll only be able to request a leave type that has been assigned to you.

Enter the time on the timesheet line.

For a full day, a single block can be added with the relevant leave type and times entered.

If a partial day is being requested as leave, you will need to add two blocks on the timesheet: one for the hours worked and another for the hours of leave being taken.

Add supporting documents by clicking the Add button in Attached Files on the right side of the timesheet.

Click Submit.
