Overview
Parental leave is typically allocated to an employee upon the birth of a child or the adoption of a child under six years old, provided that they meet the entitlement criteria.
Parental leave is managed as its own leave category in Astute, with an Accrual Method of Non-Accrued and an entitlement value that is manually added to the employee’s leave balance on a case-by-case basis.
