Overview
Administrators and recruiters can have their access customised using Access Control Groups (ACG). Each group that you create can be set with an individual set of permissions (full access or read-only) to system features, reports, and functionality, allowing you more specificity over what your administrators and recruiters can access in the portal.
The below areas of the Astute Payroll system are currently supported by ACG:
- Create User (form and button)
- Users reports
- Payroll > Status Reports
- Payroll > Pay Conditions
- Payroll > Process Payroll
- Reports > User
- Reports > Payroll (with additional reports to be added)
- Reports > Integration
- Reports > System History
- Config > Reports
- Config > System Setup
- Config > Leave
- Config > Compliances
- Config > Projects
- Config > Company Management (access to entities)
- Communication - Send Message and Templates
User Access to Manage ACGs
The ability to configure and assign ACGs to users is limited to administrators with the System Administrator permissions selected in their System Access tab: ‘Unlimited access to the entire system (Super User)’.
Important: Any administrator who needs access to configure and assign ACGs should not have any ACGs assigned to their own user profile. Assigning an ACG will override their Super User access.
ACG and Account Permissions
Users who are assigned at least one ACG in their System Access tab will be permitted to access the system according to how that ACG is configured. More information on System Access permissions for users can be found in this article.
If a user is not assigned an ACG, their access depends on the Account Permissions checkboxes that have been ticked.
Update Your User Access
The functionality and data available in your portal is dependent on how the ACG assigned to your user profile has been configured. Functionality may be hidden from your portal if it is not enabled in your ACG.
Important: ACG configuration is managed by users with System Administrator permissions in your portal. Astute Payroll is not able to make any changes to user access or ACG configuration in portals.
If you are unable to view functionality that you believe you should have access to, please contact a System Administrator for your portal.
