Overview
Changes that are made to leave category data are available for review in the Reports > System History > Audit Report. Each change is recorded on a separate line of the report, with optional keyword and date range fields available to filter your search .
Leave Category Data Auditing
When changes are made to your leave category data, you can view a history of this information in Reports > System History > Audit Report.
The report will include a record for each time a leave category is added, updated, or deleted in Config > Leave > Leave Categories, and will identify the user who performed the action, which fields were updated and the date of the action.
Each action will be identified and colour coded in the report, depending on the change that is made. New categories will be marked as green, modified categories as orange, and deleted categories as red.
An expanded, detailed view is available for each line of the Audit Report by clicking on the arrow to the far right.
For created leave categories, the expanded view will summarise all category settings at the time the category was created.
For modified leave categories, the expanded view will specify the changes that were made, with the old and new values.
For deleted leave categories, the expanded view will summarise the settings at the time the category was deleted.
Accruals on Pay and Leave Items
Leave categories that are set to accrue on ‘All Pay Items’ or ‘All Leave Items’ will have this reflected in the Audit Report. The individual pay or leave items will not appear.
If you deselect either of these options and then set specific leave or pay items for accrual, the detailed summary will identify the specific items that have been set.
Default Leave Approver Auditing
Changes that are made in Config > Leave > Default Leave Approver are captured in the Reports > System History > Audit Report.
When the Default Leave Approver is updated, the user who performed the action, the updated fields, and the date that the action was performed will be reported in the Audit Report.
