Email Template Tokens

Overview

Email tokens are available to insert into a communication template that you create in your portal. These tokens will pull particular information from elsewhere in your portal and apply them when a notification is generated.

Communication templates are created in Communication > Templates, and can be sent from Communication > Send Message once they have been created. 

Note: While system notifications use email tokens, these messages cannot be configured by end-users. If you would like to customise these notifications, please contact [e-mail]. 

Common Email Tokens

The below table lists some common email tokens that can be used in templates or system notifications. You cannot use these tokens when creating a Free Text message 

Token	Description
[:COMPANY_TRADING_NAME:]	Applies the trading name set up in Config > Company Management > select entity > Entity Details > Trading Name
[:CUSTOM_LOGIN_URL:]	Inserts the login URL for your portal
[:PAYROLLTEAM_EMAIL:]	Applies the Payroll Team Email set in Config > Company Management > select entity > Entity Details
[:PAYROLLTEAM_PHONE:]	Applies the Payroll Team Phone set in Config > Company Management > select entity > Entity Details
[:PRIMARYAPPROVER_LIST:]	Inserts a section with the heading 'Our records indicate that you are the Primary Approver for:' and then lists the employees who have been set with this user as their Primary Approver.
[:PRIMARYAPPROVER_NAME:]	Inserts the full name of the Primary Approver that has been set on the employee's Job
[:SIGNATURE:]	Applies the Email Signature that has been set in Config > Company Management > select entity > Entity Details
[:USER_EMPLOYERNAME:]	Inserts the Workplace that has been set on the employee's Job
[:USER_FIRSTNAME:]	Inserts the employee's first name
[:USER_JOBTITLE:]	Inserts the Job Title that has been set on the employee's Job
[:USER_KNOWNAS:]	Inserts the 'Known As' alias if one has been set for the employee. If this has not been set, the employee's First Name will be applied
[:USER_LASTNAME:]	Inserts the employee's last name
[:USER_PAY_RATE:]	Inserts the Pay Rate that has been set on the employee's Job
[:USER_RECRUITER_NAME:]	Inserts the Primary Recruiter that has been set on the employee's Job
