Overview
The Config > System Setup > Config screen allows you to configure some general portal settings.
System Settings
The Settings table includes a list of the current configuration settings in a portal that are visible to a System Administrator.
You can use the magnifying glass icon at the top of the Settings table to apply search filters, either by name or value. Enter a search term in the free-text field, then click ‘Find’. To reset a filtered table, click the ‘Reload Grid’ icon.
To edit a Settings row:

Click the pencil icon in the Edit column

Edit the value field.
- Click the disk icon to save.
The values that are accepted for each field will vary. If you need assistance with Config settings, please contact our Support Team.
Local Time Settings
The Local Time Settings can be expanded or hidden by clicking the +/- icon next to the section heading.
You can set your current timezone, relative to GMT/UTC time using the drop-down list.
If Daylight Savings Time (DST) applies in your location, you can set the Start and End Dates and time offset so that DST adjusts automatically. You will need to update these dates every year.
Local Time Settings apply on a portal-wide basis, so if you have locations in multiple timezones, please consider that system notifications and timestamps on the Communication Log will reflect the Local Time Settings timezone.
Page View Settings
The Page View Settings can be expanded or hidden by clicking the +/- icon next to the section heading.
This setting controls the maximum number of rows that will display when each page loads in your portal, with an option to load All Items or to specify the maximum number of items per page.
Please note that some reports in Astute Payroll will limit to a particular number of rows based on other configuration settings.
To change the display limit, select a number from the drop-down field and click Save.
