Pay Item

This component summarises the invoice charge items by the type of pay or charge item.

The table that makes up the component shows the following:

Item Sub-Total (ex GST)	Shows the type of charge items.
Qty	Shows the total number of units charged for the charge item type.
Unit	Shows the type of unit associated with the charge item type (eg HOUR).
Ave Rate	Shows the average dollar value of one unit of the charge item type. This is found by adding together all instances of that type of charge item in the invoice, then dividing by the number of instances. As an example, if there were five instances of the Base Hourly charge item on the invoice: Three of those instances have a charge rate of $40.00. Two instances have a charge rate of $30.00. The calculation would be: Base Hourly Ave Rate = ($40.00 + $40.00 + $40.00 + $30.00 + $30.00) / 5                                  = $180.00 / 5                                 = $36.00
Amount	Shows the total amount charged for the charge item type.
