Enter Payroll Notes for an Employee
You can enter payroll notes for an employee in Users > Employees > select the employee > Payroll Admin > Payroll Notes.
These notes can include reminders for future pay runs or a history of what needs to be processed and why (eg overtime, penalty rates, award details).
Payroll Notes Report
The Reports > Payroll > Payroll Notes Report is a record of the payroll notes that have been entered on employee profiles.
This report will not automatically run when you open it, so you will need to apply the relevant filters from Report Settings before any data will populate. You can filter the report by Payroll Entity or Permission Group, or using the Employee Search free-text field.
You can also include Inactive, Archived, or Locked employees by ticking the relevant checkbox.
On-screen Columns
The Payroll Note Report will show the following data on-screen:
- Employee Name
- Payroll Notes
Clicking the Employee Name will link to the employee’s profile.
Export Options
You can export the on-screen view in .pdf format or download a summary of the report data in .csv format. The .csv contains the following columns:
- MID
- Employee Name
- Employee Remote ID
- Payroll Notes
- Payroll Entity
- Permission Group
